The loop recording features ensures that the camera is constantly recording and footage can be saved from any moment of operations. This feature also means that old files will be overwritten by new ones unless they are protected. 

To lock footage and protect it from being overwritten:

1. On the main menu of the mirror interface, select "Playback".
2. Press "Lock" on the selected footage you wish to protect.
